THE STORY BEHIND SUMA: From a young girl I've been against animal testing for cosmetics. I trained in a very prestigious salon in Durham City of which I managed for a number of years but always dreamed of opening a cruelty free salon, also without the use of harsh chemicals as I felt I wasn't alone in my quest for a more natural organic approach to beauty. Suma hairdressing was born in 1989. Over the years I have used different products searching for that true natural product and of course not tested on animals. We love using Aveda and we are thrilled with the results, and the training we have received has been amazing. I feel now I have realised my dream and love the whole relaxing , holistic ambiance of the salon and feel we can now serve our guests with pure purpose.
